Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and perform shallow squats, bending the knees slightly while keeping control and proper alignment.
Coaching points
- Keep knees aligned over toes.
- Lower only to a comfortable shallow depth.
- Maintain an upright chest position.
- Control both the lowering and rising phases.
Common mistakes
- Allowing knees to collapse inward.
- Squatting too deep for recovery level.
- Leaning too far forward.
- Moving too quickly without control.
