Running a Personal Plan
Introduction
A Personal Plan is a training or recovery plan that belongs to your own iSoccer account.
The Personal Plan page allows you to open a plan, review its drills, follow the session, complete each step, and record your training results.
Personal plans may include:
- Training drills
- Recovery drills
- Step-by-Step execution
- Timer Mode execution
- Videos
- Images
- Repetitions
- Sets
- Ball touches
- Volume tracking
Opening a Personal Plan
You can open a personal plan from the Dashboard or from your plan list.
When the plan opens, iSoccer displays the plan name, plan type, training method, schedule information, and progress.
A plan may show badges such as:
- Personal Plan
- Training
- Recovery
- Step by Step
- Timer Mode
- Frequency
- Preferred Time
- In Progress
- Run Completed
Training Mode
When a training session starts, iSoccer attempts to keep your device screen awake.
A Training Mode badge may appear at the top of the screen.
Training Mode Active
š Training Mode Active
This indicates that iSoccer is attempting to prevent the screen from sleeping while training is in progress.
Screen Wake Help
ā Screen Wake Help
This indicates that your device may not fully support automatic screen wake control.
iPhone and iPad
Some versions of iOS may still allow the screen to lock depending on device settings.
If your screen continues to turn off:
Settings
ā Display & Brightness
ā Auto-Lock
ā Never
Android
If your Android device continues to lock during training:
Settings
ā Display
ā Screen Timeout
Choose a longer timeout period.
After training, you can restore your preferred screen timeout settings.
Subscription or Access Required
To run a personal plan, your account must have valid access.
If access is required, iSoccer may show a Subscription Required message.
From there you can:
- Go to the Subscription page
- Return to the Dashboard
Free Tier users can run their selected active personal plan.
Free Tier Active Plan Selection
Free Tier allows one active personal plan.
If you have more than one active personal plan, iSoccer may ask you to choose which plan should remain active.
When this happens:
- Select the plan you want to keep active.
- Confirm your choice.
- Other personal plans may be archived automatically.
- You can restore archived plans after upgrading.
This helps keep Free Tier access simple while still allowing users to experience iSoccer training.
Plan Header
The plan header provides important session information.
It may show:
- Plan name
- Plan type
- Training method
- Frequency
- Preferred time
- Total drills
- Completed drills
- Remaining drills
- Elapsed time
On mobile, some session information may be collapsed to save space. Use the session information toggle to view more details.
Hide Completed
The Hide Completed option allows you to hide drills that have already been completed.
This is useful when working through a longer session because it keeps the remaining drills easier to see.
In Timer Mode, this option may be disabled while the timer is running to prevent the running order from changing during a session.
Drill Information
Each drill may include:
- Drill title
- Description
- Duration
- Repetitions
- Sets
- Ball touches
- Video
- Images
Review the drill information before starting so you understand what to perform.
Media Slider
Some drills include video or images.
The media area may display:
- YouTube video
- Uploaded video
- Drill images
If multiple media items are available, you can move between them using the slider controls.
On mobile, you may also be able to swipe between media items.
Step-by-Step Mode
Step-by-Step Mode lets you complete each drill manually.
This mode is useful when:
- You want to focus on technique
- You want to control the pace yourself
- You are learning a new drill
- You do not want the session controlled by a timer
To use Step-by-Step Mode:
- Open the plan.
- Select the drill you want to complete.
- Start the step.
- Perform the drill.
- Mark the step as complete.
- Continue to the next drill.
iSoccer records the actual elapsed time for the completed step.
Timer Mode
Timer Mode runs the plan using countdown timers.
This mode is useful when:
- The session is time-based
- You want structured work periods
- You want automatic timing guidance
- You are following a conditioning or recovery routine
In Timer Mode, each drill uses its duration setting as the countdown time.
Timer Sets
Some drills include multiple sets.
In Timer Mode, iSoccer runs the timer for each set.
For example, if a drill has:
Duration: 30 seconds
Sets: 3
iSoccer will guide you through three timed sets for that drill.
Rest and Gap Timer
Timer Mode may include a rest or gap period between sets and between drills.
During the gap countdown, iSoccer may show prompts such as:
Ready
Steady
Go
This helps you prepare for the next set or drill.
Timer Alerts
During Timer Mode, iSoccer may play audio alerts near the end of a countdown.
This helps you stay focused without constantly watching the screen.
Make sure your device volume is turned on if you want to hear alerts.
Completing a Drill
When a drill is completed, iSoccer records the result.
Recorded information may include:
- Completion time
- Elapsed seconds
- Repetitions
- Sets
- Ball touches
- Volume
This information contributes to your Results, Training Statement, Awards, and progress tracking.
Ball Touches and Volume
Some drills include ball touch and volume values.
Ball Touches
Ball touches estimate how many times the ball is involved in the drill.
Volume
Volume is calculated from repetitions and sets.
These values help iSoccer measure training workload and technical activity.
Completing the Whole Plan
A plan is completed when all active drills have been completed.
When the plan is finished, iSoccer may display a completion message and return you to the Dashboard.
Completed plan activity is saved to your training history.
Start Again
If you completed a plan today, you may see a Start Again option.
This allows you to begin a new run of the same plan.
Use this when you intentionally want to repeat the session.
Archived Plans
Archived plans cannot be executed.
If a plan has been archived, iSoccer will show a message explaining that the plan cannot be run.
You may need to restore the plan or choose another active plan.

Common Questions
What is the difference between Step-by-Step Mode and Timer Mode?
Step-by-Step Mode lets you control when each drill starts and finishes.
Timer Mode uses countdown timers based on drill duration and set values.
Why can I not run this plan?
Possible reasons include:
- Your subscription or access is not active.
- The plan is archived.
- Free Tier requires you to choose one active personal plan.
- The plan could not be loaded.
Why is Hide Completed disabled?
Hide Completed may be disabled while Timer Mode is running because changing the visible step list during a timer session could affect the running order.
Do completed personal plans count toward my results?
Yes.
Completed personal plans contribute to your Results, Training Statement, Awards, and progress tracking.
Can I repeat the same plan?
Yes.
If available, use Start Again to begin another run of the same plan.
Does Training Mode guarantee my screen stays awake?
Not always.
iSoccer attempts to keep the screen awake while training is running.
Actual behaviour depends on:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- Browser support
- Power-saving settings
If your screen still turns off, adjust your device screen timeout settings.
