Running a Team Plan
Introduction
A Team Plan is a training or recovery plan created by a Team Owner and shared with Team Members.
Team Plans allow coaches, clubs, schools, academies, and teams to deliver structured training sessions that can be executed by individual players while still following the same program.
The Team Plan page allows you to:
- Review assigned drills
- Watch training videos
- Follow training instructions
- Execute sessions
- Record training results
- Track progress through the assigned plan
Team Plans may include:
- Training drills
- Recovery drills
- Step-by-Step execution
- Timer Mode execution
- Videos
- Images
- Repetitions
- Sets
- Ball touches
- Volume tracking
Opening a Team Plan
You can open a Team Plan from:
- Dashboard
- My Team
- Assigned Team Plans
When the Team Plan opens, iSoccer displays information about the assigned session, including progress and execution options.
A Team Plan may display badges such as:
- Team Plan
- Training
- Recovery
- Step by Step
- Timer Mode
- Frequency
- Preferred Time
- In Progress
- Run Completed
Team Plan Access
Only users with access to the Team Plan can open and execute it.
Access is controlled by the Team Owner.
The Team Owner may decide whether members can:
- Execute the plan
- Import the plan
- Share the plan
If access has not been granted, iSoccer will display an access message instead of the plan.
Subscription Required
An active subscription is required to execute a Team Plan.
If your subscription is inactive, iSoccer may display a Subscription Required message.
From there you can:
- Go to the Subscription page
- Return to the Dashboard
Plan Header
The Team Plan header provides important session information.
It may display:
- Team Plan name
- Plan type
- Training method
- Frequency
- Preferred time
- Total drills
- Completed drills
- Remaining drills
- Elapsed time
On mobile devices, some information may be collapsed to improve screen space.
You can expand the session information area to view additional details.
Training Mode
When a training session starts, iSoccer attempts to keep your device screen awake.
A Training Mode badge may appear at the top of the screen.
Training Mode Active
š Training Mode Active
This indicates that iSoccer is attempting to prevent the screen from sleeping while training is in progress.
Screen Wake Help
ā Screen Wake Help
This indicates that your device may not fully support automatic screen wake control.
iPhone and iPad
Some versions of iOS may still allow the screen to lock depending on device settings.
If your screen continues to turn off:
Settings
ā Display & Brightness
ā Auto-Lock
ā Never
Android
If your Android device continues to lock during training:
Settings
ā Display
ā Screen Timeout
Choose a longer timeout period.
After training, you can restore your preferred screen timeout settings.
Hide Completed
The Hide Completed option allows you to hide drills that have already been completed.
Benefits include:
- Easier navigation
- Less scrolling
- Better focus on remaining drills
While Timer Mode is running, Hide Completed may be locked to prevent changes to the active drill sequence.
Drill Information
Each drill may contain:
- Title
- Description
- Duration
- Repetitions
- Sets
- Ball touches
- Difficulty information
- Equipment requirements
- Coaching points
- Common mistakes
Use the information button beside a drill to view additional coaching information where available.
Media and Videos
Many Team Plans include training media.
Available media may include:
- YouTube videos
- Uploaded training videos
- Drill images
If multiple media items are available, you can move between them using:
- Slider controls
- Swipe gestures on mobile devices
Review the media before performing a drill to understand correct technique and execution.
Step-by-Step Mode
Step-by-Step Mode allows you to manually control each drill.
This mode is useful when:
- Learning new techniques
- Practicing skills at your own pace
- Following coaching instructions carefully
- Running technical sessions
To use Step-by-Step Mode:
- Open the Team Plan.
- Select a drill.
- Press Start.
- Perform the drill.
- Press Complete.
- Continue to the next drill.
iSoccer records the actual time spent on the drill.
Timer Mode
Timer Mode automatically controls drill timing.
This mode is useful for:
- Conditioning sessions
- Fitness sessions
- Recovery programs
- Structured training blocks
Each drill uses its configured duration as the countdown timer.
The session automatically progresses through drills and sets.
Timer Sets
Some drills contain multiple sets.
For example:
Duration: 30 seconds
Sets: 3
iSoccer will automatically guide you through:
- Set 1
- Set 2
- Set 3
using the configured duration for each set.
Rest and Gap Periods
Timer Mode includes configurable gap periods.
Gap periods may occur:
- Between sets
- Between drills
During the countdown, iSoccer may display:
Ready
Steady
Go
to prepare you for the next activity.
Timer Alerts
Audio alerts may be played near the end of a countdown.
These alerts help you focus on training rather than constantly watching the timer.
For the best experience:
- Enable device sound
- Disable silent mode if desired
- Use headphones when appropriate
Completing a Drill
When a drill is completed, iSoccer records training information.
Recorded information may include:
- Completion time
- Elapsed seconds
- Repetitions
- Sets
- Ball touches
- Volume
This information contributes to:
- Results
- Training Statement
- Awards
- Weekly Activity Tracking
- Exercise Reward Qualification
Ball Touches and Volume
Some drills contain Ball Touch and Volume values.
Ball Touches
Ball Touches estimate how many times the player interacts with the ball during the drill.
Volume
Volume is calculated using drill repetitions and sets.
These measurements help iSoccer understand training workload and activity levels.
Completing the Team Plan
A Team Plan is completed when all active drills have been completed.
When the final drill is completed:
- The run is marked as complete
- Results are saved
- Training history is updated
- Progress is recorded
iSoccer may display a completion message before returning you to the Dashboard.
Start Again
If you have already completed the Team Plan today, a Start Again option may be available.
This allows you to:
- Repeat the session
- Record a new run
- Create additional training results
Each new run is recorded separately.
Team Plan Results
Completed Team Plans contribute to:
- Training Results
- Training Statement
- Awards
- Weekly Activity Tracking
