How to Use the Plan Edit Page

Introduction

The Plan Edit page allows you to manage all of your personal training plans and team training plans.

From this page you can:

  • Review your training plans
  • Update plan settings
  • Edit training steps
  • Archive plans
  • Share plans publicly
  • Publish plans to teams
  • Import team plans
  • Refresh imported plans
  • Manage weekly training goals

This page is available to:

  • Free Tier users
  • Individual subscribers
  • Team Members
  • Team Owners

Page Sections

The Plan Edit page contains four main areas:

  1. Weekly Goals
  2. Personal Plans
  3. Team Plan Management
  4. Assigned Team Plans

Weekly Goals

Purpose

Weekly Goals help you track your overall training targets.

Goals can include:

  • Training Time
  • Actions Completed
  • Ball Touches
  • Training Volume

These goals are used throughout the iSoccer reporting and results system.


Viewing Weekly Goals

Select:

Weekly Goals

to expand the goal panel.


Goal Types

Training Time

Target weekly training time.

Example:

180 minutes

Actions

Number of drills or actions completed.

Example:

80

Ball Touches

Target number of ball touches.

Example:

1000

Training Volume

Overall workload target.

Example:

3600

Saving Weekly Goals

After updating your targets:

Select:

Save Goals

Your goals are stored immediately and used by future reports.


Personal Plans

Purpose

Personal Plans are training plans owned by your account.

Each plan displays:

  • Plan Name
  • Plan Type
  • Frequency
  • Preferred Time
  • Training Method
  • Number of Steps
  • Estimated Duration

Opening a Plan

Select:

Edit Plan

to open the plan editor.


Plan Settings

Each plan contains several editable settings.


Plan Name

Choose a clear name that describes the training objective.

Examples:

Weekly Shooting Program
Speed and Agility Training
Ball Mastery Level 2

Training Frequency

Options include:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • 2 Times Per Week
  • 3 Times Per Week

When selecting a weekly option, you must choose the appropriate training days.


Scheduled Days

Examples:

Mon
Wed
Fri

These help schedule and organise training sessions.


Preferred Time

Examples:

6:00 AM
5:30 PM
Any Time

This is used for planning purposes only.


Training Method

Step by Step

Athletes manually move through each drill.

Recommended when:

  • Repetition count matters
  • Drill quality is important

Timer Mode

Each drill runs for a timed duration.

Recommended when:

  • Conditioning is important
  • Time-based sessions are preferred

Editing Plan Steps

Purpose

Each plan contains multiple training steps.

A step normally includes:

  • Drill Name
  • Duration
  • Repetitions
  • Sets
  • Ball Touches

Opening Step Details

Select a step to view detailed information.

The step details may include:

  • Description
  • Images
  • Video
  • Training instructions

Editing a Step

Select:

Edit

Then update:

Duration

Used primarily by Timer Mode.

Repetitions

Used primarily by Step by Step Mode.

Sets

Number of groups performed.

Ball Touches

Expected touches completed during the drill.


Reordering Steps

Use:

Move Up
Move Down

to change drill order.

The system automatically renumbers all steps.


Step History Protection

If a drill has already been used in completed training sessions:

  • Historical results remain protected
  • The drill cannot be fully removed from history
  • Archiving may be required instead

This ensures accurate training statistics.


Archiving Plan Steps

Purpose

Archiving hides a step from future use while preserving historical data.

Use this when:

  • A drill is no longer required
  • Results already exist
  • Historical reporting must remain accurate

Saving Plan Changes

After editing:

Select:

Save Changes

The plan will immediately update.


Sharing Plans

Purpose

Sharing allows other users to view your plan using a public link.


Creating a Share Link

Select:

Share

The system generates a secure public link.


Sharing Options

The link can be:

  • Copied to clipboard
  • Shared directly from your device
  • Sent through email or messaging apps

Disabling Sharing

Select:

Unshare

The public link immediately stops working.


Plan Archive

Purpose

Archiving removes a plan from active use without deleting it.

Archived plans:

  • Remain in your account
  • Preserve history
  • Can be restored later

Archive a Plan

Select:

Archive

The plan moves to archived status.


Restore a Plan

Select:

Unarchive

The plan becomes active again.


Plan Deletion

Important

Deleting a plan permanently removes:

  • Plan details
  • Plan structure
  • Training steps

This action cannot be undone.


Plans With History

If training history exists:

  • Historical records remain protected
  • Certain deletion restrictions may apply

Free Tier Restrictions

Free Tier users are limited to:

1 active personal plan

Because of this:

  • Plan deletion is disabled
  • Plan archiving is disabled

The active plan remains available for training and results tracking.


Team Plan Management (Team Owners)

Purpose

Team Owners can publish personal plans to teams.


Add Plan to Team

Select:

Add To Team

Choose one or more teams.

The plan becomes available to selected team members.


Team Permissions

Team Owners can control:

Allow Execute

Members can run the plan.

Allow Import

Members can import a personal copy.

Allow Share

Reserved for future sharing controls.


Manage Team Plans

Team Owners can:

  • View assigned members
  • View team execution counts
  • View last sync date
  • Update permissions
  • Sync changes

Sync Team Plan

Select:

Sync

This pushes the latest version of the source plan to the team plan.

Use this after changing drills or plan settings.


Archive Team Plan

If no execution history exists:

  • Team plan may be removed

If execution history exists:

  • Team plan is archived
  • Historical records remain available

Assigned Team Plans (Team Members)

Purpose

Team Members can receive plans from Team Owners.

These appear in:

Assigned Team Plans

Import Team Plan

Select:

Import

A personal copy is created in your account.

This allows personal customisation without affecting the original team plan.


Refresh Imported Plan

Select:

Refresh

to update your imported copy using the latest team version.

Use this when a coach publishes changes.


Best Practices

For the best experience:

  • Use descriptive plan names
  • Keep weekly goals realistic
  • Review imported plans regularly
  • Sync team plans after major updates
  • Archive old plans instead of deleting them
  • Preserve historical drills whenever possible

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I delete my plan?

Free Tier accounts include one permanent personal plan and deletion is disabled.


Why can't I archive my plan?

Free Tier accounts require one active personal plan.


What happens when I refresh an imported team plan?

Your imported personal copy is updated using the latest team plan information.


What happens when I sync a team plan?

All team members receive the latest version of the published plan.


Does archiving delete history?

No.

Historical training records remain available for reporting and statistics.


Can I share any plan publicly?

Yes, provided the plan is eligible for sharing. A public share link can be generated and disabled at any time.
